About The Game

Crystal Cave-In is a fast paced dice rolling, action using, tile placement, race to gather crystals from an unexplored, ever expanding, unstable cave system.

Game Elements

  • There are two types of dice which are used in Crystal Cave-In.

    The Action dice determines how many actions you get to use that turn. We use a D6 so you have anywhere between 1 and 6 actions per turn.

    The Dig/Cry Dice is used for success checks. This dice would be rolled when attempting to dig through walls, steal crystals, cause cave-ins, or clear cave-ins.

  • Actions can be spent exploring the cave system, causing a cave-in on your tile, hunting other players, stealing crystals, digging through walls, or even just moving between exits to navigate the explored cave system faster.

  • The cave system is broken up into 52 unexplored Cave Cards along with the Cave Entrance card. There 6 of each type of standard cave card (straight away, bends, t-shaped tunnels, 4-way tunnels) . There are 3 of each narrow version of those cards. The Tile deck also includes 4 cave entrance cards, 6 cave paths with crystal cards, and 6 cave-ins.
